Conservatory information
A detached family home with a Georgian/Edwardian style conservatory set on a built base with dwarf walls, in Stafford. The original conservatory structure as the conventional design, with French doors to the side, coupled to casement windows. The front elevation of the conservatory also has large casement windows with opening fanlights and fixed panels.
Work carried out.
Superior Conservatory Panels removed the original polycarbonate roof panels and fitted new Thermotec aluminium panels powder coated in white RAL 9910 gloss. 12 new roof panels were fabricated and installed in under a day.
Following a comprehensive site survey, the new panels fit exactly into the existing roof bars, using the glazing beads, cappings and gaskets from before.
This conservatory refurbishment has brought new life to the good-size conservatory in this modern house and the customer testimonial confirms just how good the internal comfort is, following the installation.

“Wow! What a difference our new Thermotec roof makes. Since installation, we have experienced different weather conditions and there is no comparison to the old polycarbonate roof. In cold weather the heat retention is so good we have turned the radiator down. When the sun beats down the conservatory is as cool as the main house. When the rain pours the noise is significantly reduced. Aesthetically, White panels are much nicer to look at than polycarbonate and spacially we cant detect any change in ambient light inside.
In summary, the Thermotec roof has lived up to expectations and is transforming the way we use the space. From consultation to installation the team at Superior have done a fantastic job and we could not be happier.”
